Juniper Meadow Ranch Riding Lessons

Juniper Meadow Ranch offers riding lessons of all styles and for all purposes.
We have two instructors, Ms. Ashley (listed first) and Ms. Theresa, our senior instructor (listed below Ashley)
Meet our school horses:

JoJo our pony for 3-5 yr old riders
Hallie a 9 yr old Tennessee Walking Horse mare who has competed and won in model, trail and two gait trail pleasure classes

Sweetheart, a 9 yr old Paint mare 15.2 hands
Cowboy a spotted saddle horse gelding about 14.3 hands

Beginner lessons by Ashley Starting at age 4 and up. Stress is on safety, balance and communication with the horse.
20-30 minute lessons for Ashleys younger riders are $30.00. These are private lessons.
40 min- 1 hour lessons for Ashleys advanced beginner riders $40.00.

Lessons by Theresa Denham ARICP certified in 1996 and recertified in 1997. She has had over 20 years of experience teaching lessons, training horses and helping people and horses communicate. Her basic fees are $40.00/ lesson on your horse or ours or a package of 8 scheduled lessons for $260.00 Her expertise has been sought in gaited communities as well as in other disciplines such as dressage,western riding, jumping. Her background stresses safety in handling and riding with a very strong foundation in equine psychology and riding mechanics.

Theresa's students have shown throughout Oregon. They have competed in dressage, open showing english on rail and over fences,western showing, and in 'A' rated TWHEAO and WIWHA circuits. Her students have won both show Championships and Year End awards alike. Theresa measures her students' success by the comfort and communication they have with their mounts in any riding situation, whether in the show ring or on the trail.

The goals of the student are the goals of the instructor. So whether you want to ride for fun, show or just to overcome a hurdle in your life, Theresa will help you generate goals to meet your needs.
