What is equine appraisal used for? Horse appraising is needed for interstate/international sales, insurance, estate settlement, and in some cases, litigation for death or liquidation of equine stock.
Having an appraiser who is knowlegable about horses from the training, breeding and exhibiting side, and who has worked numerous years on the veterinary side creates a unique addition to personal property appraisal such as horses. Theresa has all this.
In addition to the great equine understanding, she also has been trained and has the capability and methodology to create a well rounded appraisal to stand up in litigation.

We do several types of appraisals which have associated costs with them. We do not adjust our cost to the valuation of the animal , otherwise a conflict of interest would influence the end valuation. Multiple horses with similar bloodlines from the same herd will receive discounts because the level of research and market analysis would be reduced
