What is equine appraisal used for? Horse appraising is needed for interstate/international sales, insurance, estate settlement, and in some cases, litigation for death or liquidation of equine stock.
Having an appraiser who is knowlegable about horses from the training, breeding and exhibiting side, and who has worked numerous years on the veterinary side creates a unique addition to personal property appraisal such as horses. Theresa has all this.
In addition to the great equine understanding, she also has been trained and has the capability and methodology to create a well rounded appraisal to stand up in litigation.

We do several types of appraisals which have associated costs with them. We do not adjust our cost to the valuation of the animal , otherwise a conflict of interest would influence the end valuation. Multiple horses with similar bloodlines from the same herd will receive discounts because the level of research and market analysis would be reduced
This report while having all the elements of the fully self contained report, has less documentation in the report (we will research and keep files for valuation reasons but we just dont take time to fully report them in the written summary) . This usually makes this more affordable of a summary. Most often use to determine valuation for:
insurancing an animal*
donation of an animal to a charity
*can be shifted to a fully self contained report at a later for a fee if necessary for litigation
Restricted Use Appraisal Report-$425 + expense- Multiple horse same lineage discounts apply
This report is used where a breif is requested to determine if a more complete report is necessary. It may be requested by a DA or IRS for valuation confirmation. This is a restricted report for a specific use , a screen to determine if a more in depth report is required.
Litigation (DA or Prosecuter)
THIS REPORT MAY ONLY BE USED FOR THE INTENDED USE BY THE CLIENT
